On Monday September 21 2020 the school celebrated it’s 100th anniversary. The occasion was marked by a march past in First World War uniform by former pupil Gregory Deeley, and an oak tree was planted to commemorate the occasion. Look in the video section to see a record of the event, which was also covered in this article here.
Due to the pandemic we had to postpone our plans for an anniversary meal, but we are now delighted to say that we are going ahead with this now that lockdown is due to end. Many thanks to all of you who have already expressed their interest in attending, and we can confirm that the response has been amazing. It looks like this will be a very well attended event. It is not too late to register, just fill out the form. Look out for updates in your given email address inbox and on johnphipps.co.uk
Also note that you can connect with old pupils and leave comments on photographs if you register. The comments are visible on the photographs with the commenters name, as well as in the newsfeed at the front.
